Viet Nam Idol 2012 embarks on first international tour
HA NOI (VNS)— The winner of Viet Nam Idol 2012, Ya Suy, will start his first concert tour abroad next week. On stage beside him will be Hoang Quyen and Bao Tram, the two runners-up from the competition.
The singers will perform throughout Germany as well as in other European countries.
An estimated 1,000 people, including local Germans as well as members of the Vietnamese community living in Germany, will attend their kick-off performance in Frankfurt on March 9.
The young trio will go on to perform in Dresden and Magdeburg before travelling to Prague in the Czech Republic.
The tour will conclude in Mainz and Frankfurt on March 16.
The trio will present songs that they performed successfully during the competition, focusing on songs honouring the beauty of Viet Nam and love songs by famous Vietnamese composers.-VNS
