US and UK rock bands storm into town
Two bands, the US-based Dengue Fever and UK-based Little Barrie, will perform at the Cargo Bar in District 4 on June 7 and 9.
Dengue Fever, comprising six American and Cambodian musicians, will present a blend of 1960’s Cambodian pop and psychedelic rock.
Little Barrie, made up of guitarist and vocalist Barrie Cadogan, bassist Lewis Wharton, and drummer Virgil Howe, will perform RB, soul, blues, and garage rock (a form of rock and roll that became popular in the US in 1963).
The shows will begin at 7pm. The bar is at 7 Nguyen Tat Thanh Street in District 4. — VNS
