Quang Ninh to open tour offices
Quang Ninh Province, home to several popular destinations including Ha Long Bay, has unveiled plans to open representative offices in Japan and South Korea to promote its tourism industry.
The offices will provide information, organise tourism promotions, provide consultancy services to Vietnamese travel agencies, and host economic and cultural events.
Japan and Korea are two of Viet Nam’s largest tourist markets, with 274,000 Koreans arriving in the country in the first four months of 2013, a year-on-year increase of 49.3 per cent, according to figures from the Viet Nam National Administration of Tourism.-VNS
