Border fears over new bird flu

A fire on Saturday burnt five old vespa motorbikes and one car in a
garage in Tan Ap Street in Ha Noi’s Ba Dinh District. No casualties were
reported. Nine engines were needed to put out the blaze. Police are
investigating how the fire started.
Indicators reveal signs of early recovery
Indicators during the last three months are promising signs of an early
economic recovery. Gross domestic product in the first quarter grew by
4.89 per cent, the consumer price index fell significantly, while
exports and foreign direct investment reported encouraging results.
