HCM City to host Open Dance Festival for troupes, schools
HCM CITY (VNS)— HCM City will host the fourth Open Dance Festival on August 5, attracting hundreds of veteran and young dancers from 22 art troupes and dance schools in the city and other provinces.
The five-day event will feature more than 70 dance works, mostly contemporary, in praise of nature, people and the country.
A seminar on dance training and the problems with dancers today will be featured. Dozens of veteran choreographers and dancers such as Kim Quy, Viet Cuong and Manh Hung will be invited.-VNS
