HBSO readies for eagerly anticipated Autumn Melody extravaganza
HA NOI (VNS)— International and Vietnamese musicians will perform in an Autumn Melody concert hosted by the HCM City Ballet Symphony and Orchestra.
The annual concert will be held from August 16-18 at the HCM City Opera House. This will be a large-scale concert with performances from Vietnamese, Russian, German and Norwegian artists.
Featuring masterpieces by Beethoven, Bach, Schumann and Liszt, the concert will be followed by the ballets Chuyen Tinh Non Song (Homeland Love Story) by Vietnamese choreographer Vu Viet Cuong and composer Vo Dang Tin, as well as Cinderella by Russian composer Sergei Prokofiev, which will be performed on August 18 and 20.-VNS
