Central region markets holiday destination
Thua Thien-Hue and Quang Nam provinces and Da Nang will jointly organise tourism marketing events at home and abroad, with the first one scheduled for April.
This year the three localities will participate in the Viet Nam International Tourism Fair in Ha Noi, the International Tourism Expo in HCM City, and the Korea World Travel Fair in South Korea, and organise a tourism promotion trip to Thailand.
Last year Da Nang and Quang Nam each welcomed some 2.7 million tourists, and Thua Thien-Hue received 2.2 million visitors.
Apart from domestic tourists, international arrivals to the three central localities are mainly from Thailand, South Korea, Russia, and China.-VNS
