ĐÀ NẴNG — An exhibition of 80 paintings created by orphans, disabled people and underprivileged children is on display at the central city’s Fine Arts Museum.
The exhibition, which opened in celebration of International Children’s Day (June 1), depicts images of happiness and love created by disabled people and orphans with the theme ‘Raising the wings of dreams’.
The exhibition will last till June 20 at 78 Lê Duẩn street.
An exhibition of artworks titled ‘The Sojourners’ opened yesterday at Pullman Beach Resort Danang on Võ Nguyên Giáp Street.
The show presents a unique contemporary exhibition by a collective of international artists displaying their visions of Việt Nam in a wide variety of media, from canvas paintings to augmented reality.
The exhibition showcases drawings, paintings, mixed media works, augmented reality, photographs and video installations.
The artists are all ‘sojourners’ themselves – people who are residing temporarily in Việt Nam. Their diverse artworks reflect their Vietnamese experiences, weaving the beauty and culture of the country into their distinctive visual and audio works.
‘The Sojourners’ opens from 9am to 8pm daily till July 31, and will be free to attend, providing a unique attraction to guests, visitors and local residents. — VNS
