VietNamNet Bridge – The worldwide-renowned Italian rock band Lacuna Coil will perform at Crescent Residence in Phu My Hung, District 7 at 5 p.m. on July 20.

The Italian metal band from Milan found in 1994 are inspired by a combination of gothic imagery and music, the members have been known, musically, for composing mid-tempo songs consisting of prominent guitar lines and contrasting dual female/male vocal harmonies to help create a melodic, detached sound.
Much of the band’s recent material, however, sees a heavier and more down-tuned style, featuring a more distinct bass line and a higher mixing of the guitars within the songs.
Currently the band has six members: male vocals Andrea Ferro, female vocalist Cristina Scabbia, guitarists Macro Biazzi and Cristinano Migliore, drummer and percussionist Cristiano Mozzati and keyboardist and bass guitarist Marco Coti Zelati.
The band has released many albums including In a Riverie in 2000, Halflife in 2000, Unleased Memories in 2001, Comalies in 2002, Karmacode in 2006 and Shallow Life in 2008. The band’s 2012 release, Dark Adrenaline, peaked at number 15 on the U.S.’s Billboard 200 album chart. They sold over 2 million records.
The show will also feature Vietnamese rock band Parasite.
