VietNamNet Bridge – The Southeast Asian Youth Chamber Orchestra (SEAYCO), including six Vietnamese players, will perform at the Goethe Institute in Hanoi on June 16.
They will play some pieces of work as Alessandro Marcello (mainly using oboe trumpet and piano), Antonio Vivaldi (flute, oboe trumpet and basso), In the Style of Albenitz – Rodion Shchedrin, and You Raise Me Up – Rolf Lovland.
Free tickets are available at the Goethe Institute as from 10am on June 11.
SEAYCO was established in August 2012 with 25 talents from Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines, Indonesia, Myanmar and Malaysia.
Six Vietnamese talents include La Diem My (violonist), Hoang Ho Khanh Van (violonist), Tran Hong Nhung (cellist), Nguyen Thi Huyen Trang (fluter), Pham Khanh Toan (oboist) and Nguyen Tuan Long (pan-pipe artist).
The orchestra has performed in Thailand and Myanmar under the baton of German Prof. Nicolas Pasquet.
