As many as 50 pictures and photos from 21 painters and photographers
from Vietnam, Brazil and France are on displayed at an exhibition
called “Hanoi – Paris – Rio de Janeiro current art” which opened
in Paris on April 26.

The exhibition, to run
through May 11, is co-organised by Metropole Group and the
Association of Vietnamese in France, with the aim of
creating opportunities for painters and photographers from the three
countries as well as art lovers to meet, exchange and discover uniqu
e and current artwork from the three different cultures.

The works manifest new and unique views of the motherlands of six Vietnamese, four French and 11 Brazilian artists.

The Vietnamese artists presented many pieces to art-lovers, which included the painting “Rain in Old Quarter” by
overseas Vietnamese in France Pat Cam.

According
to photographer Eric Huynh of Metropole Group, some of the works
will be auctioned. The money raised will go towards helping
Vietnamese and Brazilian photographers attend future exhibitions
in Asia, Europe and South America.-VNA
