Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak on May 4 began a two-day visit to
Singapore for the sixth regular Malaysia-Singapore leaders’ retreat,
according to a press release by Malaysian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Hsien Loong will discuss bilateral issues and review the progress of
their current cooperation, including initiatives achieved in the
Malaysia-Singapore leaders retreat in 2014.

During his trip, the Malaysian PM will also meet with representatives of
the Malaysia Association in Singapore and attend a dialogue with
leading and influential business leaders in Singapore.

He is expected to speak at the Economic Society of Singapore on the evening of May 5.

In 2014, Singapore was Malaysia’s second biggest trade partner with a trade volume of 59.5 billion USD.-VNA
