The final round of the fourth contest to select the best MC on Ha Long
Bay took place on April 25 in the northern province of Quang Ninh
with 10 candidates coming not only from domestic television stations but
also from China.
Nguyen Thi Diem My from Thua
Thien-Hue provincial television station was in the spotlight when
winning the highest title, while Le Thi Hoai Huong from the Ho Chi
Minh City television station shared the second prize with Liu
Qing-yuan from the Guangxi radio station. The third prize was awarded to
three contestants including Yuan Yi-bei from the Jiangxi television
station.
The event was among cultural activities welcoming the 2013 Ha Long Carnival, which is slated to begin on April 27.
Also on the occasion, the 2013 Tuan Chau – Ha Long Asian Women’s Beach
Volleyball Tournament opened on April 25 in Ha Long City.-VNA
