Vietnam still head the Southeast Asian region in the latest April
ranking, according to the International Federation of Association
Football.
Although the team dropped three steps to 132nd in
world rankings, they topped the region, followed by Thailand who
dropped five positions to 140th in the world. Next came the
Philippines (143), Myanmar (155) and Malaysia (163).
In
the wider Asian region, the top three belonged to Japan (world No
29), the Republic of Korea (42) and Australia (46).
Spain still led the world and it was followed by Germany and Argentina.-VNA
