The final round of the Algerian 4th Vovinam (Vietnamese Martial Art)
championship took place in the capital city of Algiers on April 5,
with the participation of nearly 290 fighters from 28 clubs throughout
the country.
The Olympique Bouroba club ranked first with
18 medals, followed by Nadjame El Chrarba club with 12 medals and
Wadade Eucaliptus club bagged 9 medals, ranking third.
Several athletes from the Algerian national teams also took part in the
event as a preparatory step for the upcoming World Vovinam Championship
to be held in France this July.-VNA
