As many as 100 photographs, which were selected from the Vietnam
Heritage Photo Awards 2014, are being displayed at an exhibition in Nha
Trang city, the central province of Khanh Hoa.
Opened on October
30, the event is part of the chain of exhibitions in 16 provinces and
cities across the country, which aims to mark the 10th anniversary of
Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day (November 23).
The works on show
lively depict Vietnam’s typical natural and cultural heritages, bringing
visitors to landscapes nationwide, with different cultural identities,
beautiful sceneries, and habits and customs.
After more than two
months of launching, the contest received over 4,400 entries from 470
photographers, focusing on natural heritages, tangible cultural
heritages (architecture, sculpture, handicrafts) and intangible cultural
heritages (music, festival, folk game and religion).
A ceremony to honour winners of the Awards is scheduled for November 23 in Ho Chi Minh City.-VNA
