Local fans have a chance to enjoy performances by two popular DJs,
Uberjak’d from Australia and Sebastian Geist from Germany, in HCMC on
Thursday and Friday respectively.

Australian
DJ Uberjak’d will perform on Thursday at 9 p.m. at Fuse SG’s Zone 1,
138 Le Lai Street in HCMC’s District 1. He is a pioneer in the new wave
of Aussie producers to create electronic dance music that has global
influence. He has had contracts with the world-famous recording
companies such as Steve Aoki’s Dim Mak, Australia’s Ministry of Sound,
and Laidback Luke’s Mixmash. This year, he is in the top ten of inthemix
50 (Australia’s biggest and most prestigious vote for DJs). Uberjak’d
is now having a jam-packed schedule in 2014 across Europe, America,
Australia and Asia.

Meanwhile,
the Goethe Institute in HCMC in conjunction with Heart Beat, a series
of electronic music programs, will bring Sebastian Geist, one of
Germany’s most popular music producers, to perform one night at Cube Bar
in HCMC’s District 1 at 8 p.m. on Friday.
Sebastian Geist, also
known as SchleppGeist, is the king of minimal house, a genre of
electronic music. He was born in 1980 in Rodstock, Germany. Apart
from
playing house, techno and minimal sounds, Geist has mastered his skills
at a producer and composer in Berlin since 2007. He has performed at
numerous indoor and outdoor events in the world.
Sharing the Heart Beat #9 stage with Geist are Romanian DJ Drew Tudose and local DJ B.A.X and Swedish VJ Erol.
The free entrance program takes place at Cube Bar, 31B Ly Tu Trong Street, District 1, HCMC.
