City hotels join Earth Hour 2013
In reply to global warming threats, hotels in HCM City will be turning off their lights to mark Earth Hour 2013 from 8.30 pm to 9.30 pm on Saturday.
The Caravelle Hotel, the Hotel Equatorial HCM City, the InterContinental Asiana Sai Gon, the Legend Hotel Sai Gon, and the Sheraton Sai Gon HotelTowers are encouraging their staff and guests to join the mission.
Devised by the World Wildlife Fund, Earth Hour spans 7,000 cities and 152 countries with a digital reach of 200 million. This year’s theme is Uniting People to Protect the Planet.-VNS
