HA NOI (VNS) — Conductor Tran Vuong Thach will lead the Goyang Philharmonic Orchestras performance of Vietnamese musical composition Tro Ve Dat Me (Return to the Motherland) in Gyeonggi Province, South Korea, onJuly 11.
Composed by Nguyen Van Thuong, Tro Ve Dat Me (Return to the Motherland) is replete with beautiful melodies and reflects the composers love for central Viet Nam.
The orchestra will also play Mendelssohn’sConcerto for Violin and Pianoand Tchaikovsky’sSymphony No4.
Being organised at the invitation of the South Korean orchestra, the musical event will boost ties between the HCM City Ballet, Symphony and Orchestra (HBSO) and other foreign orchestras, Thach said.
The 73-member HBSO will perform in Tokyo in October. — VNS
