VietNamNet Bridge – A variety of styles of Jazz Dance will be first introduced formally to the Vietnamese audience.

Wishing to introduce to HCM City audiences, a dance genre that is favored by many young people as Jazz Dance, Vietnamese-Canadian choreographer John Huy Tran and his students will organize a show called Jazz! at the HCM City Youth Cultural House on March 15,16,17.
This will be an opportunity for the public to enjoy the dances that are extracted from a series of popular Broadway musicals: Cabaret, West Side Story, New York New York…
Through the classic works, the show will take viewers to the modern jazz dance genres, from Afro Jazz, Lyrical Jazz, Pop, Jazz, to Street Jazz.
The program script is written by Linh Rateau, artistic director of Dancanter. Besides John Huy Tran, Jazz! will also have the presence of the young choreographers like Nguyen Vu Hoang Minh City (winner of the Teen Dance 2010 competition), Nguyen Ngoc Tan, Nguyen Nhat Anh and talented dancers of the “Do You Think You Can Dance” 2012, including the champion Lam Vinh Hai and the top 4 duo Vo Hong Nhung and Do Quang Dang.
