HA NOI (VNS)— The 2013 Canadian Food Festival will be launched at the Seafood Express restaurant at the Royal City shopping mall today in the presence of guest chef Cameron Stauch.
Organised on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the establishment of Canada-Viet Nam diplomatic relations, the month-long festival will introduce premium products from Canada, including beef, a wide range of seafood – lobster, oysters, scallops, snow crabs, black cod, salmon, halibut and mussels, Ambrosia apples, wines and other spirits.
A number of restaurants, hotels and shops in town including Don’s Tay Ho, Hai Cang, Asahi Sushi, Hoa An Vien, Capital Garden, Hai Dang Plaza, Hilton Hotel and Sheraton Hotel will join the event by offering special discounts on their Canadian food menu.
A 20 per cent discount on Canadian Ambrosia apples will be offered from November 25 to December 15 at Luon Tuoi Sach (Always Fresh and Clean) fruit shops.
