Four ships belonging to Nam Binh An Limited Co. in the coastal Northen city of Ha Long, Quang Ninh Province were suspended from operation by the local authorities for a safety check after an incident on one of their ships on May 1.
The ship bow stuck on the embankment.
According to Ha Long City People’s Committee, water leaked into the engine of Cong Nghia ship numbered 29 QN-6237. The ship, fortunately, did not submerge as its bow was on the embankment.
The ship which belongs to Nam Binh An Company is a passenger cruise on Ha Long Bay and does not offer overnight cruise service. — VNS
