A father and daughter died yesterday when a motorbike and a truck crashed into each other in central Ha Tinh Province.

At about 6am yesterday, Tran Quoc Hoi, 64 years old, was riding a motorbike carrying his daughter Tran Thi Thoa, 8, on a section of National Highway No.1A running through Xuan An Town, Nghi Xuan District.
The crash with the truck driven by Ngo Van Thang, 27 years old, running on the same direction, resulted in the father being dragged for 20m. The truck also ran over the daughter.
The accident’s cause is being further investigated.
