A 47-member Famtrip delegation is on a visit to the central province
of Thua Thien-Hue to survey its tourist attractions and products.
During their September 20-21 stay, the guests, who are
representatives of 30 travel agencies from France, Italy, Russia and the
Republic of Korea, plan to visit garden houses in Kim Long village, Dai
Noi Hue (Hue inner city) and the Thanh Tan hot mineral water area,
enjoy Hue’s culinary art, and participate in a tourism fair.
On
the occasion, the province’s travel companies will host a seminar to
promote its tourism products and potentials, while seeking cooperation
opportunities with the guest agencies.
The province will also
introduce activities during the Hue Festival and the “gold tourism week”
in 2014 as well as new services of the Hue Relic Conservation Centre
to the delegation.
Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s
Committee Ngo Hoa hailed the visit as it is made on the occasion of the
20 th anniversary of the recognition of the Hue Relic Complex as a
world tangible heritage and 10 years since the UNESCO recognised the
“ Nhac nhac cung dinh Hue ” (Hue Royal Court Music) as an
intangible cultural heritage of humankind.-VNA
