HCM City fetes expats with cultural gala
The HCM City administration, in co-operation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, will hold a three-day festival for foreigners living and working in the city at the Van Thanh Tourism Park from tomorrow to September 1.
The HCM City – Our Home includes an exhibition called HCM City’s Activities in International Relations – Integration and Development, many booths featuring souvenirs from local residents and foreign communities, a traditional game zone, and food courts manned by hotels and restaurants in the city.
There will be music and dance performances by local and expat communities, as well as fashion shows featuring the ao dai and traditional costumes of foreign countries.
A culinary competition called “Vietnamese Delicacies” is expected to attract a large number of Vietnamese and foreign participants.
The park is located at 48/10 Dien Bien Phu Street in Binh Thanh District.-VNS
