An Giang Television-Number 1 Cup, an international women’s cycling tournament, will kick off on July 8.

More than 60 athletes from 11 teams, including three foreign crews, will participate in the event, which will be spread over six stages and 450km.
The first stage will cover 33km around Tay Ninh City, starting from the province’s gymnasium.
Viet Nam’s clubs have registered their best cyclists to compete at the annual event.
Gao Hat Ngoc Troi An Giang are favourites to win the title, with the participation of SEA Games and national champion Nguyen Thi That and runner-up Phan Thi Lieu.
The presence of athletes from Japan, South Korea and Kazakhstan is expected to make it a competitive tournament, according to the organisers.
