Tourism promotions offered to celebrate National Day
Many HCM City-based tour operators are offering discounts and other promotions for the long National Day holiday in early September.
They have tied up with Viet Nam Airlines as part of a tourism stimulus programme.
The He Tre will offer two tours to the northeastern region of six and seven days, with departure scheduled for August 30, priced at VND9.8 million (US$450) and VND11.4 million, 35 per cent lower than normal.
Fiditour will offer several domestic tours at discounts of up to 30 per cent.
A trip to Phu Quoc is VND1.6 million lower at VND5.2 million, while a Con Dao tour is VND300,000 cheaper at VND6.5 million.
A four-day tour to Ha Noi, Ninh Binh, Ha Long, and Yen Tu costs a third less than normal at VND7.5 million.
A four-day Ha Noi-Lao Cai-Sa Pa tour lasting will be 30 per cent cheaper at VND7.7 million.
Vietravel is offering a discount of VND3.3 million on a six-day tour to Ha Noi, Lang Son, Cao Bang, Ban Gioc Waterfall, and Ba Be Lake, pricing at just VND9.9 million.
A Chau Doc-Nui Cam-Can Tho tour is 15 per cent cheaper from early July.
Saigontourist Travel Service Company is offering tours to destinations such as Buon Ma Thuot, Ha Noi, Hai Phong, Sa Pa, Da Nang, Nha Trang, Da Lat, Phan Thiet, and the Mekong Delta at prices of VND2.5-6.5 million.
From Ha Noi, tourists can visit Phu Quoc, Hue, Nha Trang, Ha Long, Cat Ba, Ha Giang, Sa Pa, or Cao Bang at prices starting at VND3.25 million. — VNS
