The “Vietnamese Culture Days in Russia” event is taking place in
Moscow in a bid to help Russians gain deeper understanding of Vietnam’s
rich culture.

The opening night on June 25 featured a
special performance of Vietnamese traditional music and dance, Vovinam
martial arts, and an Ao Dai (Vietnamese traditional dress) show.
Russian songs were also performed by Vietnamese singers.

Present at the event, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Hoang Tuan
Anh expressed hopes that the Vietnamese Culture Days will help further
bolster traditional friendship and cooperation between the two countries
as well as their strategic partnership.

On June 26, a
round-table conference on cultural partnership and bilateral
tourism promotion was held as part of the event.

Minister Anh
had a working session with his Russian counterpart Vitaliy Mutko to
discuss the possibility of connecting the two countries in the sport
field.

The week-long event will include the screening of several Vietnamese famous movies.-VNA
