The National Circus Gala will be held at the Central Circus in Hanoi
from April 27 to May 1 to celebrate the upcoming Liberation Day (April
30) and May Day.
The gala will draw the participation of
well-known circus artists from across the country, including Hoang
Long, Cao Hung, Dinh Thang and Van Thai, according to Nhan dan (People)
online newspaper.
The artists will offer performances that
have previously won prizes at both domestic and international circus
festivals including prestidigitations, acrobatics, juggling, balancing
and animal acts, with visual humour from the clowns.
As one of the activities to mark the World Circus Day (April 17), the
event aims to create a good opportunity for circus artists to enhance
their experience, skills and techniques to donate higher-quality
performances to audiences.-VNA
