HA NOI (VNS) — Viet Nams National Museum of History will organise an exhibition entitled Flying Dragon – Vietnamese Royal Art from July 9 to September 15 at Paris Guimet Museum of Asia Art.

The exhibition will display 89 artefacts, including carved dragons, dating from the Dong Son Culture of 1000BC to 1BC to the early 20th century. They are made of different materials such as gold, silver, bronze and gem stones.

Some of the artefacts include a gold book, a gold seal and a gold hat from a collection of the Hue Royal Palace.

The exhibition aims to introduce Viet Nams distinctive cultural identities to international visitors, particularly the French public. — VNS
