Tabcorp Saigon Cup raises funds for children with heart disease
HCM CITY (VNS) — The Australian Chamber of Commerce (AusCham) will hold the Inaugural Tabcorp Saigon Cup horse race tomorrow to benefit Heartbeat Viet Nam, which raises funds for life-saving surgeries for poor children with congenital heart disease and heart ailments.
The Inaugural Tabcorp Saigon Cup will take place at the Reverie Saigon Hotel in District 1. The day will include food, beverages, horse racing competitions.
Participating guests will enjoy a hat fashion show by designer Kan Kanemura worn by models from the CA3 Artiste Agency Academy.
Horse races will be screened on the giant LED screen.
The event is inspired by the US$5.5 million Melbourne Cup, which has been held in Australia for the past 154 years. The event attracts more than 100,000 people at the Flemington Race Course in Melbourne each year.
