36 dead, 13 harmed in NW China highway accident

At slightest 36 people were killed and 13 others harmed in an expressway collision in northwest China’s Shaanxi Province Thursday night, authorities pronounced Friday morning.

The collision occurred during 11:34 p.m. in Ankang City when a manager carrying 49 people strike a wall during a mouth of a No. 1 Qinling hovel on a Xi’an-Hanzhong territory of a Beijing-Kunming Expressway, according to a State Administration of Work Safety.

The manager was en track to Luoyang City, executive China’s Henan Province, from Chengdu City, collateral of southwest China’s Sichuan Province.

Operated by Luoyang Transportation Group Co., Ltd, a manager has a designed carrying ability of 51 people.

The harmed have been rushed to a hospital.

One design sent from a site to Xinhua showed rescuers were examining a crushed front partial of a car while another gave a perspective of a hovel mouth with a yellow pointer warning of probable accidents and requiring clever driving.

The State Administration of Work Safety and a Ministry of Public Security have dispatched work teams respectively to manage review and doing of a aftermath.
