Going to Vietnam this time, artists Maryvonne Le Dizes and Vietnamese Meritorious Artist Tran Vuong Thach will conduct the HBSO to play works of the two different.

It’s classical music with the beauty of balance, pattern and eternity through music of Mozart (1756 – 1791) and Francesco Geminiani (1687-1762). Another genre is the music of the 20th century with sublimated emotions, intense, creative music of British composer Benjamin Britten (1913-1976), who succeeded in all areas of music, from the soundtrack to the musical, and of Argentine composer Astor Piazzolla (1921-1992).

Piazzolla’s music is the great mix between Latin music, jazz, and academic music that has a very unique style, with generous, passionate, emotional impression.

Artists will also play music by Belgian musician Guillaume Lekeu (1870 – 1894), a musical talent who died young, at the age of 24.
