CAAV: Punctuality rate of airlines increases in September

Hanoi (VNA) – The on-time opening record of domestic
Vietnam Airlines, Vietjet Air, Jetstar Pacific and Vasco in Sep was 17,624
flights, accounting for 86.3 percent of a sum flights, adult 1.6 points year
on year, according to a Civil Aviation Administration
of Vietnam (CAAV).

The punctuality rate for a inhabitant flag
carrier, Vietnam Airlines, was 86.1 percent, adult 2.4 points while a rate of low-cost
Vietjet was 84.1 percent in a month, a tumble of 1.4 points year on year.

In the
January-September period, a 4 airlines together launched 205,811 flights,
of that 180,432 took off on time, accounting for 87.7 percent, adult 4.3 points
year on year.

Vietnam Airlines’ punctuality rate was 89.9 percent, adult 6.9
points; Vietjet’s and Jetstar’s were 85.4 percent and 82.3, respectively, both up
two points; and Vasco’s was 96.7 percent, adult 1.1 points year on year.

According to CAAV, a sum series of delayed
flights was 25,388.

Late lapse of planes was a categorical means of a delays and
cancellations, accounting for 8.3 percent.

Faults on a side of a airlines themselves were blamed for
2.5 percent of not-on-time attainment rate.

Other reasons for delays and cancellations
included airports’ singular infrastructure and services, moody government and
