Lao Deputy Prime Minister cum Minister of Foreign Affairs Thongloun
Sisoulith on March 5 met with visiting Vietnamese Assistant Minister of
Foreign Affairs Ha Kim Ngoc.

Ngoc, who is attending a
meeting of landlocked countries in Vientiane, informed the host of
some bilateral cooperation activities the two ministries of foreign
affairs, including an exchange programme, in the coming time.

Deputy PM Sisoulith appreciated Vietnam’s participation in the
ongoing meeting of landlocked countries in Laos and said it was
showing the two countries’ special relationship.

The
Deputy PM expressed hope that the Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs
will continue to help Laos organise upcoming international meetings
following the success of a series of events in Laos last year.-VNA
