A delegation from the Government Inspectorate of Vietnam headed by
Inspector General Huynh Phong Tranh is on a four-day visit to China
beginning on March 21.
The Vietnamese guests met
with a delegation of the Chinese Ministry of Supervision led by Minister
Huang Shuxian at the ministry’s headquarters the same day.
Welcoming the visit by the Vietnamese inspectors, Huang said the
Chinese side wishes to boost high-level exchanges to strengthen the
friendship and cooperative relations between the two countries.
Tranh, who is a member of the Central Steering Committee on
Anti-Corruption, and the Chinese host exchanged experiences on how to
run inspection and supervision activities to fight corruption.
The same day, the delegation had talks with Zhao Hongzhu, Secretary of
the Secretariat of the Communist Party of China’s Central Committee
and Deputy Secretary of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection
of China.
Tranh briefed Zhao on the outcomes of his
meeting with the Ministry of Supervision. He stressed that Vietnam
attaches importance to its friendship and cooperative relations with
China .
Zhao praised the cooperation between the
Vietnamese inspectorate and the Chinese Ministry of Supervision as well
as the outcomes of the talks.
Zhao informed the
Vietnamese guests on the successes of the 18th Congress of the
Communist Party and the first session of the National People’s Congress
of China.
He also shared China ’s experiences in fighting and preventing corruption.-VNA
