Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has underscored the significance
of the public’s opinions on the draft amendments to the 1992

During his trip to the southern province of Binh Phuoc on March 13 to
inspect the locality’s collection of public ideas on the draft revised
Constitution, Phuc praised the province’s efforts in popularising the
Party Central Committee’s documents and conducting the collection of
ideas through various activities.

Binh Phuoc Party
Committees, authorities, fatherland front and mass organisations
have raised responsibility during the poll, he said.

Phuc was informed of the difficulties Binh Phuoc faced during the
campaign, the most significant of which was the province’s large
area, which hindered the campaign reaching remote areas and people from
ethnic groups.

The leader asked Binh Phuoc to complete a
report by March 15 that details the number of people involved in the
campaign, as well as the rate of approval and disapproval.

The province was urged to pay special attention to the popularisation
of the draft revised Constitution to help raise the public’s awareness
of the Constitution, as well as their role, rights and obligations as
stipulated in the Constitution.

Phuc asked the locality to acquire more suggestions from experts and managers.

On March 12, Phuc gave similar instructions during his tour of southern Binh Duong province for the same work.

By March 8, Binh Duong had organised 1,152 conferences to gather
opinions on the draft revised Constitution, with 95,421 people
