sustainable development in Asia-Pacific.

and emerging waste issues in terms of policy, institutional and
technological considerations; and 3R infrastructure towards a resource
efficient and zero waste society.

indicators and resource efficiency; 3Rs in small-and medium-sized
enterprises, industrial, agricultural and rural sectors; 3Rs for
sustainable and resilient cities, and multi-stakeholder partnerships to
advance to the 3Rs and resource efficiency were also tabled during the

the forum will create a firm foundation and opportunities for Asia to

The success of
3R measures depends on not only efforts by countries but also
cooperation and experience sharing among them, he said.
