VN confirms first Zika-tied birth defect case

The Department of Preventive Medicine under the Ministry of Health yesterday confirmed Viet Nam’s first microcephaly case likely related to the Zika virus.   The link to the virus was confirmed by laboratory tests, said health officials. Thai Binh explosion kills four, injures 11

The authorities have said that the explosion at a processing plant in Thai Binh Province which killed four people and injured 11 others was caused by an empty boiler.
